Hi, my name is Deborah Johnson and I am a native New Orleanian. I was born on December 24, 1951. I had great parents and a wonderful childhood! I am a “maw maw,” momma, sister, sexy wife, aunt and friend. I am also a writer. I started writing many years ago and I LUV it.
I attended public schools and graduated in 1970 from Joseph S. Clark High School (Go Bulldogs)! Sorry ya’ll, I am ALWAYS gonna be a bulldog. In 1991, I received my Bachelor in Social Work from Southern University. In 1995, I received my master’s in counseling from Xavier University. I was employed as a social worker for the State of Louisiana, Department of Children and Family Services.
I am now retired and intend to devote my time to writing. I am also a published author and entered the Ebony magazine short story contest. I just wanted to tell you a little bit about myself, until next time!
