5 Festive Cocktails To Try This Holiday Season!

*sings* It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Happy Holidays everyone! Believe me when I say the Christmas season is one of my most favorite times of the year. Food, Presents, Loved-ones, and did I say Presents…I mean what’s not to love?! One of my favorite things about the holiday season is going to fabulous Christmas parties! I LIVE for fancy hors d’oeuvres, cute “thank you’s,” and fab cocktails. Since i’m always inspired to recreate the cocktails I’ve had at parties, I’ve decided to share the 5 cocktail recipes I will be trying out this holiday season. Check them out below!

1. “The Mistletoe”

1oz Svdeka Cherry
splash of sour mix
tonic water
cherry and rosemary sprig for garnish

2. “Candy Cane Cosmopolitan”

2oz vodka
1oz peppermint schnapps
cranberry juice
candy canes for garnish

1 1/2oz vodka
1oz Licor 43
cranberyy juice
cranberries and cinnamon sticks for garnish

4. “The Nice List”

2 1/2oz sparkling wine
1 1/2oz vanilla vodka
1oz crème de menthe
splash of grenadine
crush candy canes for garnish

eggnog martini

5. “The Eggnog Martini”

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1tsp ground nutmeg
1tsp pumpkin-pie spice
8 cups whole milk
6 large egg yolks
3 cups brandy
use ground nutmeg for garnish
(recipe serves 10-15 persons)

Ever since I can remember I’ve always LOVED the holidays. They combine my 3 fave Fs..Family, Food, and Fun! There is no better feeling than hanging with your love ones, all while sharing a few stories and good laughs.

1. Apple Cider Mimosa

Champagne

2. Cranberry Margarita

1 1/2 cups cranberry juice cocktail

3/4 cup fresh lime juice

3/4 cup tequila

1/2 cup orange-flavored liqueur

ice cubes

3. Honey Crisp Apple Sangria

 2 honeycrisp apples, chopped

1 orange, thinly sliced

1 (750 ml) bottle red wine

1 and 3/4 cups homemade apple cider

1/2 cup brandy

1/4 cup orange juice

juice from 1 lemon

club soda

cinnamon sticks for garnish

4. Pumpkin Pie Shooters

3 tbsp pumpkin puree

¼ cup International Delight Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer

½ tsp vanilla

marshmallow fluff

graham cracker crumbs

5. Apple Pie Punch

1 apple, chopped or sliced

1 quart apple cider

2 cups pear nectar

24 ounces ginger ale

3/4 ounces of pearl vodka

5 Halloween Inspired Cocktails You Have To Try!

Well people it’s that haunted time of year again! Halloween is just a few days away. Ever since I can remember I’ve always loved Halloween. You get a chance to dress up, pig out on your fave candy, and my new favorite…throwing back a drink or two…or three. I consider myself to be a very festive person, and I love the idea of doing anything theme inspired. So I decided to list 5 Halloween Inspired Cocktails you just have to try this holiday. Check them out below!


1. “Vampire’s Kiss”

1oz Vodka
1/2oz Raspberry Liqueur
3oz Cranberry Juice
Splash of Lime Juice


2. “Witches’ Brew”

2.25oz Caliche Rum or Bacardi Rum
0.75oz Pineapple Juice
0.75oz Lime Juice
1.25oz Simple Syrup
1 pack of Gummy Worms for Garnish


3. “The Frankenstein”

1oz UV Blue Vodka
1oz UV Citrus Vodka
1oz UV Vodka
3oz lemon lime soda
3oz orange soda
1 pack of Candy Canes for Garnish


4. “Candy Corn Jello Shots”

1 box of lemon jello
1 box of orange jello
2 packets of unflavored gelatin
3/4 cup of Vodka
1 can of Cool Whip for Garnish

polyjuice potion
5. “PolyJuice Potion Punch” (non-alcoholic)

1/2 lime sherbet
2-liter sprite
3 drops neon green food coloring

Serve all cocktails over ice for the perfect beverage!
